An exquisite bakery near my place just got replaced by a Rameshwaram cafe style tiffin spot. Idli, vada, pongal, filter coffee, queue from 7am.

Seeing more of this. Artisan / premium / western losing ground to affordable south indian breakfast across HSR, Indiranagar, Koramangala.

Comfort food is winning.
