Business vs Craft
Building companies, for me, feels like steering a ship I deeply love. It's not just business — it's something I live and breathe.
I love working with A-players — people who are sharp, self-driven, and who naturally inspire everyone around them. The best people don't need to be managed; they need to be inspired.
That's where leadership comes in — it's about creating energy, purpose, and momentum every single day. Motivation matters. Crafting the best product, delivering the best service — those things fuel pride, excitement, and inspiration in a team.
Now, I'm not a fan of systems and compliances (who really is?). But they're necessary. It's not chaos out there — business isn't a jungle, and it's not pure art either. Some structure is needed to channel the creative energy in the right direction.
Still, where's the joy if your work isn't a craft? If it doesn't bring emotion or meaning? As Elon Musk says, your only job isn't to solve one problem after another — inspiration and dreams deserve their own place.
I don't want to sit back and watch the business grow from the sidelines. I love steering it, shaping it, and pushing it toward real impact.
Some business coaches say, "If you're in it every day, you've employed yourself." But I'm not a slave to it — I'm the captain, and I love driving it. When I want to do more things in life, I can. That's the beauty of building something you truly love.
Because in the end, business isn't just about systems and profits — it's about craft, emotion, and the people who make it come alive.
